Why you selected this picture:
I selected this picture when I was trying to find one that would clearly show you my heart.  I struggled to choose between one of my immediate family or my family in Uganda. Someday I know these two worlds will collide and I will have a picture to show you with both.

What do you spend your time on:
Time…a word I’m not so keen on.  I never feel like I have enough of it.  I’m on the adventure of my life – doing things I couldn’t have even dreamed of.  I thought I had a plan for my life, or a grasp on how I was going to spend my time, but God has taken that and blown everything out of the water.

I fancy:
  • being with family and friends
  • being by any and all bodies of water
  • long conversations around a campfire
  • crafting
  • road trips
  • laughing
  • sunrise and sunset
  • hot tea
  • hammocks
  • dancing
  • and food…definitely food.

One thing not many people know about you:
I’ve had plastic surgery done on my nose (and not voluntarily, it was due to a sledding catastrophe). My advice to you, look before you go.

Your favorite dessert or candy:
Ohh that’s a tough one.  I love food and that may even be an understatement.  If I had to choose I would have to say my Meena’s (grandmother) homemade apple pie.  There’s a lot of comfort in that.

Family:
My family is everything to me.  I wouldn’t be who I am today without each one of them.

How long have you been at gracespring:
My parents choose gracespring as our home church when I was about 8 years old (I think).  So I guess that makes it 16 years!  That’s crazy!

Why did you agree to be a blogger:
I have to be honest…When Sherry first asked me to be a part of this blog, I told her I am terrible at writing and she wouldn’t want me to do it.  I could think of a dozen other women at gracespring that I would have asked first.   A friend of mine from Australia who was visiting was standing next to me, she interrupted and said very clearly “she will do it”.   She later reminded me that God uses broken people all the time.  That maybe it’s not my insecurity in writing that I should think about, but what He wants to say.  I am humbled and honored to see how God uses this blog alongside all of you.
